DeLand is the Volusia County seat and the home of Stetson University, founded in 1883. It’s an inland town, so a DeLand move looks different from a beach move: no causeways or condo towers, but plenty of older homes under big oak trees, a busy historic downtown along Woodland Boulevard, and rural properties out toward DeLeon Springs and Glenwood.
