Moving in Palm Coast Plantation: what to know

Palm Coast Plantation is a gated community of single-family homes and homesites on about 700 acres. It runs along more than two miles of the Intracoastal Waterway and is built around Emerald Lake, a spring-fed freshwater lake of about 125 acres. The main gate is on Plantation Boulevard, off Colbert Lane between Palm Coast Parkway and SR 100.

Homes here are mostly on large lots, many on the lake or the Intracoastal. The community has a clubhouse, a pier on the Intracoastal and boat and RV storage, and it sits right next to Herschel King Park. If you keep a boat or a lot of gear, tell us about the garage and storage items along with the house.

How we plan a Palm Coast Plantation move

  • Gate check-in. The community’s gate asks visitors for a valid driver’s license, so our crew comes ready to show ID. Let the gate know your movers are coming on move day.
  • HOA and new owners. New owners in many HOAs go through an orientation for gate access. Ask your HOA about move-day timing and truck parking, and let us know what they say.
  • Certificate of insurance. If your HOA or management company asks for a COI, we can provide one on request. We’re licensed and insured.
  • Lakefront and Intracoastal homes. We protect floors, pavers and landscaping, and carry carefully around pool cages and lanais.
  • Garage and storage. Tell us about workshop, fishing and boating gear so we bring the right boxes, pads and crew size.

Need a certificate of insurance? Many gated communities and condo associations ask movers for one. We’re licensed, insured and registered (Fla. Mover Reg. No. IM2982). Ask and we’ll send your HOA a COI before move day.
