Moving in Grand Haven: what to know
Grand Haven is a gated, master-planned community on about 1,400 acres along the Intracoastal Waterway in Palm Coast. The main gate is on Colbert Lane. It’s made up of roughly 25 villages, so the homes run from golf-course condos and villas to single-family homes and large estates on the Intracoastal.
It’s built around the private Grand Haven Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature course that opened in 1998, with the Village Center and the Creekside Athletic Club near the north entrance. Many homes sit on the golf course, on lakes or on preserve. Grand Haven also borders a large county nature preserve, and some homes there are new construction.

How we plan a Grand Haven move
- Gate first. We’ll ask you to put us on the visitor list for move day. Tell us the gate procedure and we’ll send crew names and truck details ahead of time.
- Village and HOA rules. With about 25 villages, rules can vary. Many HOAs set move hours or ask where a truck can park. Check with your village or HOA and send us what they tell you.
- Certificate of insurance. We’re licensed and insured, and we can provide a certificate of insurance (COI) on request if your HOA or condo association asks for one.
- Golf-course and lakefront homes. We keep the truck on the street or driveway (never on the turf), and we protect floors, door frames and paver driveways.
- New builds. Closing dates on new construction can slip. Tell us early and we’ll work with you on the date.
Need a certificate of insurance? Many gated communities and condo associations ask movers for one. We’re licensed, insured and registered (Fla. Mover Reg. No. IM2982). Ask and we’ll send your HOA a COI before move day.
